Kristy is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. She is also a Certified Preplanning Specialist and a WI Registered Life Agent for Burial Agreements.

•Affordability: Divine Passage was founded to provide affordable services to the Ripon and surrounding communities. By keeping the facility modest and using an existing facility in our community, we offer our services and merchandise at a lower cost than services currently available in our community.

•Locally Owned and Operated: We are not owned by a multinational funeral conglomerate. All decisions are made at the community level and we are able to respond to local needs and conditions immediately. We strive to support and promote many of the quality businesses in our community.

In private consultation with us, you can decide what type and what scope of funeral service you wish to have. That way you can rest assured that your loved ones will not be unnecessarily burdened with these decisions at the time of their loss. You can also be confident that in the event of your death, everything will be taken care of in accordance with your wishes and you will be given a proper funeral befitting your personality. 

A preplanned funeral consultation with us involves: 

• Selecting the type of funeral  
• Planning the visitation
• Determining the flower arrangement
• Organizing obituaries and memorial card photos
• Naming the people to be contacted in the event of your death
• Selecting coffins or urns
• Arranging future grave maintenance
• Determining costs and payment
• Compiling documents and formalities, including the settlement of your estate
• Other individual wishes and needs

Divine Passage Funeral Home has an on-site Certified Preplanning Specialist to answer all of your questions about planning your funeral. Janice Gove has many years experience specifically preplanning funerals to cater to every families wishes for their loved ones funeral. She has a earned a WI Resident Intermediary License as well as a WI Burial Agreement License so families can have a choice of a different way of funding their funeral. Did you know, there are two different ways to fund your funeral: Bank Trust and Funeral Insurance? 

• Interest earned is taxable.
• IRS reporting with 1099 form. 
• No guarantees or minimum on interest rate earned (you must subtract tax paid on interest for true interest rate). 
• Limits-- $4500 toward funeral, any casket, any vault. Cash advance items may NOT be funded per MA/SSI requirements. 
• Remaining funds after funeral goes to Wisconsin Estate Recovery Program if on MA/SSI 
• Meets MA/SSI requirements.

• Death benefit increases are not taxable.
• No IRS reporting.
• Guaranteed set interest rate for growth.
• No Limits—Considered on EXEMPT ASSET. Cash advance items may be pre-funded as long as funds are designated for final expenses only.
