William R. Fox

William R. Fox, age 96, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton, WI. Bill was born on March 21, 1929 in Detroit, MI; the son of William and Emily (Kantzer) Fox. He was united in marriage to Leatrice Ann Karp on September 10,

1949 in Redford, MI. She preceded him in death on March 4, 2014. Bill graduated from General Motors Institute in Flint, MI with a Mechanical Engineering B.M.E.  Bill was a member of the Ripon  Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed family vacations, playing cards, and being with friends.

Bill is survived by his daughter Kristie (John) Winters of Wayne, MI,  son Terry Fox of Ripon, WI, and daughter,  Alene (Chris) Gardocki of Maple Plain, MN; grandchildren: Farra (Brian) Coleman of Long Beach, CA, Corey (Christina) Winters of Milan, MI, Jesse (Chondra) Fox of Strasburg, OH, Jason (Heather) Winters of Westland, MI, Kelly (Ed) Orr of Darien, IL, Elizabeth Wright of Ripon, WI, Adrienne (Brandon) Ward of Maple Plain, MN, Ashley (Levi) Hymes of Zanesville, OH, and Kaitlin (Jake) Lipman of Janesville, WI; great grandchildren: Jackson, Arabella, Elaina, Penelope, Lochlan, Bey, and Jamin; other relatives and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Leatrice; infant son, Randy who died at four days old; brother, Donald Fox, and daughter-in-law, Robin Fox.

Per the wishes of Bill, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on April 11, 2026 at the Ripon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
