William “Willie” Beier, age 67, of Brandon, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 26, 2025. He was born in Waupun, WI on August, 17, 1957 to Bernard and Carol (Fryday) Beier. Willie attended and graduated from Markesan High School. He was class president, on the wrestling team, and valedictorian of pulling pranks on his teachers and classmates.
After graduating high school, Willie started working in the trucking industry and began his own trucking business where he built several lifetime friendships. He decided the trucking industry wasn’t exciting enough, so he chose to add farming; and did both successfully for several years.
Willie was united in marriage to Bonnie Sinotte in Fond du Lac, WI on September 8, 1979. Willie and Bonnie moved to Brandon, WI in 1983, where they created a home for everyone they met for over 40 years. Together they raised an insanely intelligent and overachieving daughter, Renae. Willie had many talents, joys, and hobbies which included dog whispering, shooting trap, hunting, fishing, grilling out, spending time with the love of his life, Bonnie, and attempting to solve all of his daughter’s problems (many which included speeding violations).
Willie is survived by his saintly wife, Bonnie; daughter, Renae (fiancée Ryan Jahns) Beier of Madison, WI; sister, Shirley Zimmerman of Fox Lake, WI, and sister-in-Law, Barb Beier of Princeton; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Carol Beier, and siblings, Dennis Beier, and Roger “Walt” Beier.
His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived. Now, please pour yourself a whiskey old fashioned, sit on your porch, watch the sunset and remember his zest for life and contagious laugh that could be heard across the fields.
Funeral services for Willie will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church in Fairwater with Rev Kimberly Stowell officiating. Family and friends may visit at Zion Lutheran Church on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 10AM to12PM. Burial will be held at Union Prairie Cemetery in Brandon following the funeral service.
