Wayne Kranz Sr.

Wayne W. Kranz Sr., age 66, of Ripon, passed away at Mercy Medical Center on January 7, 1999. He was born in Wauwatosa on August 26, 1932. On August 10, 1951, he married Mildred Dahlke in Dubuque, IA. Wayne was a construction worker for Mycron Construction and was a member of First Congregational Church in Ripon. He was a “Lifelong Packer Fan”. He is survived by his wife, Mildred of Ripon; 3 sons: Wayne (Fatima) Kranz Jr. of Elgin, IL, Mark (Judy) and Jeff (Connie) Kranz both of Ripon; 2 daughters, Debra (Steven) Stollfuss of Ripon and Tammy (Roy) Erickson of Brandon; one brother, Jerry Hohler of North Fond du Lac; 2 sisters, Bonnie Veto of Milwaukee, and Sara (Dick) Bartoli of Mayville; 14 grandchildren, and one great grandchild; and a very special friend, Janice Ohlrich of Ripon. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 11, 1999 at 11:00am at Wachholz Family Funeral Home in Ripon with Rev. Eric Burnard officiating. Burial was held in the Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon. Friends may call Sunday, January 10th from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Wachholz Family Funeral Home in Ripon handled the arrangements for the family.
