Wayne Kranz Jr

Wayne W. Kranz Jr., age 68, of Algonquin, IL, formerly of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, February, 24, 2022 at his home surrounded by his wife and daughter after a long and courageous fight with cancer. Wayne was born on September 8, 1953 in Ripon, WI, the son of Wayne Sr. and Mildred (Dahlke) Kranz. He graduated from Ripon High School, Class of 1971. He was united in marriage to Jan Hutchinson in 1972. He worked for Modern Pole Builders in Ripon for many years. He then moved to Illinois and married Fatima Pawlenko in 1987.

Wayne survived by his wife; 3 children: Robert Kranz of Fond du Lac, Tim (Mandy) Kranz of Ripon, and Mara Kranz of Algonquin, Il; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Mark Kranz and Jeff (Connie) Kranz both of Ripon; 2 sisters: Debbie (Steven) Stollfuss of Ripon, and Tammy (Roy) Erickson of Brandon; uncle, Jerry (Joann) Hohler of North Fond du Lac; and aunt, Sara (Dick) Bartoli of Mayville. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and nephew, Josh Erickson.

A Celebration of Life will be held for our father and brother, Wayne Jr. If you knew him and want to share in the celebration, please join us at the local 1327 Union Hall on Scott Street, Ripon on Sunday, October 16, from noon-4pm.
