Virginia T. Swederske

Virginia T. Swederske, age 73, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Abridge Care Cottage in Ripon, WI. Virginia was born in Ripon, WI on February 6, 1950; the daughter of James Sr. and Magdalen (Panuski) Pruss. She was united in marriage to her loving husband, Richard Swederske on September 20, 1969 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Ripon.

Virginia received her Cosmetology Certification and worked as a beautician at Berlin Beauty for over 40 years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening flowers and watching the birds. She loved traveling, reading and walking around the community.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard; daughter, Melissa (Khaliq) Khan of London, England; son, Todd Swederske of Ripon; grandchildren: Maia Uma Khan and Zamir A. Khan; 5 sisters: Marion Docta, Lucille (Wayne) Wagner, Anna (George) Karamitis, Marlen Pruss, and Christine Waters; other relatives and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James Pruss Jr.

Visitation for Virginia will be held from 4:00PM to 5:30PM on Thursday May 11, 2023 at Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon.
