Terry L. Huelsman

Terry L. Huelsman, age 79, of Ripon, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon. Terry was born on June 8, 1944 in Gary, IN; the third child of Oscar and Doris (Craw) Huelsman. The family moved back to Fond du lac and had 5 more children. Terry attended Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac. He then served his country in the U.S. Army from July 1962 to July 1965. He was stationed in Berlin, Germany for most of his service time. He was united in marriage to Linda Koenigs on June 15, 1968 in Fond du Lac. They had 2 children: Matthew, born in 1974; and Amy, born in 1976. Terry worked at Osco Drug Store in Fond du Lac and then spent his career at the U.S. Postal Service retiring as Postmaster at 55 years old. He worked many part time jobs after retirement and was a proud member of the Ripon Lions Club. He was an avid Route 66 memorabilia collector.

Terry is survived by his wife, Linda of Ripon; daughter, Amy (Casey) Fluno of Nekoosa, WI; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Huelsman of Beaver Dam; grandchildren: Madilyn and Emma Fluno, Lexi, Mason, and Ella Huelsman; brothers: Robert Huelsman and Kenneth (Helen) Huelsman, both of Fond du Lac; sisters: Maxine Neas and Nancy Kimpel, both of Fond du Lac; other relatives and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Joe and Pearl Koenigs; son, Matthew Huelsman; sister, Mary Duck; and brothers: John Huelsman and Dennis Huelsman.

A Celebration of Life for Terry will be held from 12:00-6:00pm on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Ripon Senior Center.
