Steven A. Mathers

Steven Mathers, age 63, of Ripon, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at his home after a short battle with Cancer with his wife and special boys, Benson and Murdoc by his side. Steve was born on December 16, 1957 in Fond du Lac, the son of Wayne and Janet (Lange) Mathers. He was united in marriage to Joan Will on April 8, 2002 in Fond du Lac. He worked at Alliance Laundry Systems as a Utility Maintenance for many years. He loved his yard and was known to fix things no one thought could be fixed, giving him the nickname, “Mr. Fix It”.  

Steve is survived by his wife, Joan; special boys, Benson and Murdoc; two step daughters: Jennifer (Doug) Walters of Fond du Lac, and Amy (Brandon) Walters of Fond du Lac; step mother, Ruth Mathers of Fond du Lac; step grandchildren: Peyton, Riley Grace, Mason, and Ava Walters; brother, Mike (Jan Geib); sister, Lola Voskuil; godchild, Amy (Pat) Loof; nieces: Samantha Mathers, and Brooke Voskuil; nephews: Tony Mathers, Tanner Mathers, Travis Geib, Dan (Heidi) Skrenes, and David Skrenes; mother-in-law, Barbara Will of North Fond du Lac; brother-in-law, Jeff (Jodi) Will; sisters-in-law: Jeanne (Jerry) Immel, and Julie Will; special friends: John (Julie) Peeples, Tim and Jr, Chris (Lana) Bastien, Joe (Laura) Marchant, Ron (Terry) Emanuel, and Alan (Rene) Krause; great nieces, great nephews, cousins and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Scott Mathers; nephew, Randy Mathers; father-in-law, Gilbert Will; and brother-in-law, John Will.
