Stephen R. Jenkins, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton, WI with his family by his side. Stephen was born on April 5, 1948 in Fond du Lac, WI; the son of Orris and Natalie (Wagner) Jenkins. He graduated from Brandon High School, class of 1966. Stephen was united in marriage to Sharon TerBeest on January 28, 1967 at the First Reformed Church in Waupun. She preceded him in death on September 16, 2024. Stephen was a school bus driver for the Rosendale School District for over 30 years before retiring. He loved spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He enjoyed watching TV and playing checkers with his grandsons.
Stephen is survived by his children: Sheila Jenkins of Oshkosh, Shane (Brittany) Jenkins of Oregon, WI, Shawn Jenkins of Baraboo, and Sarah (Lawrence) Schwister of Oshkosh; 6 grandchildren: Joseph (Nicolle) Waltenberry, Michael and Parker Schwister, Straton, Ireland, and Wells Jenkins; great grandson, Theodore Waltenberry; siblings: Cindy Gallup, Douglas Jenkins, Linda (Norman) Penke, and William (Janette) Jenkins; other relatives and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Sharon; daughter, Shannon; son, Scot; sister, Vivian Geoffrion; and brother, James Jenkins.
A Funeral service for Stephen will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon with Rev. Erik Boulier officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 10:00am until the time of the services. Burial will be held in Mackford Union Cemetery in Mackford, WI.
