Obituary

Ronald Richard Timm, age 80, of Fond du Lac, WI, went to be with our Lord and Savior at the church triumphant on February 9, 2023. Ron was born on January 18, 1943 in Ripon WI, the son of Edward and Clara (Kuck) Timm. He graduated from Ripon High School, Class of 1961. He then enlisted in the US Navy, stationed on the USS McNair serving his country until 1963. Ron married the love of his life Beverly Jean Schultz on March 19, 1965 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon, WI. Ron and Bev were married a blissful 57 years filled with love, laughs, and countless memories. He loved to collect antique construction equipment models, and had the special skill being everyone’s handy man. When he was not at work or working on projects at home you could catch him on the golf course playing a round of nine or even eighteen. Ron loved to spend time at his park model at Sandy Pines in Michigan and in the winters loved to travel down in his fifth wheel to Charleston, SC to visit his daughter and her family.

Ron is survived by his wife, Beverly; children: Charles (Lesli) Timm, Kevin (Pam Montgomery) Timm, and Karen (Lewis) Moore; four grandchildren: Richard “Rich” Timm, Courteney Timm, Claire Marie (whom he called his Gold Medal) Moore, and Lewis “Ellis” Moore Jr; brother, Duane (Anita) Timm; sisters: Marilyn Henning and Shirley (Bob) Schroeder; many other relatives and dear friends. After sixty years apart, Ron was united with his biological son, Roger (Peggy) DeLaruelle and their daughter, Holly. Ron is proceeded in his death by his first wife, Melvina; his parents; sister, Joyce; and brother, Robert.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Ron at 11:00am on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Mt Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon with Reverend Adam Zimpelmann officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 10:00am until the time of the services. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon with full military honors. A special thank you to the staff at The Manor of Fond du Lac for their attentive care during the last week of Ron’s life. Their care was exceptional for Ron and most comforting for the family.
