Robert "Bob" E. Timm

Robert “Bob” E. Timm, age 92, of Ripon, WI, went to his eternal home in heaven peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 23, 2021. Bob was born on January 26, 1929 in Lake Bluff, IL to Edward and Clara (Kuck) Timm. He was baptized in Waukegan, IL. In 1932, his family moved to Wisconsin after his grandfather’s funeral and they never left. His family lived on the Mapes farm, the original house and land of the man who founded Ripon.

Bob was the first to be confirmed at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon on April 2, 1944. He met his sweetheart, Helen Brown on October 19, 1947. They were united in marriage on September 4, 1948 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church where they remained lifelong devoted members. Bob owned and operated B&B Auto Service. He was a very generous and caring Christian.

Bob is survived by his wife of 73 years, Helen; two children: Dennis (Kathy) Timm of Ripon and Diana (Reverend Paul) Fetzer of Clare, MI; five grandchildren: Melanie (Chad) Holdorf, Michael (Molly) Fetzer, Elizabeth (Steven) Collings, Benjamin (Shiela) Fetzer, and Melissa (Kris) Patera; 4 great grandchildren; two brothers: Duane Timm and Ronald Timm; two sisters: Marilyn Henning and Shirley Schroeder; other relatives and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Matthew Fetzer; and sister, Joyce Hein.

A Visitation for Bob will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon. Friends and family may also visit at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 10:00am until the time of the funeral services.

Funeral Services for Bob will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church with Reverend Michael Sheppard officiating.
