Richard "Rick" A. Bader

Richard “Rick” A. Bader, age 68, of Green Lake, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 10, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family after complications with COVID-19. Rick was born on April 24, 1953, at Berlin General Hospital, the son of Herbert and Marge (Ruby) Jent. He was then adopted by Louis and Margaret (Ohara) Bader.

After Rick graduated high school, he served his country in the US Air National Guard. Rick was the Head Chef at Michael’s Supper Club and Royal Ridges in Ripon. He enjoyed woodworking and was a crafter making glass mobiles and tree of life pendants and had a studio at Green Lake Townsquare for over 10 years. He loved to go fishing and enjoyed morning walks around Green Lake to the marina.

Rick is survived by his siblings: Kathy McLaughlin, Judy (Dean) Stolzer, Dave (Sue) Kurtz, Jeff (Debbie) Brinsko, John Brinsko; many nieces and nephews; his cousin and best friend, Kate and Sam Oxendine; and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Herb Jent; mother, Marge Baake; and uncle, Larry Jent.
