Richard J. White

Richard “Rick” “Rich” J. White, age 66, of Oshkosh, WI, went to HIS Heavenly Kingdom suddenly on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. Rich was born on November 22, 1956 in Oshkosh; the son of Glenn and Marcella (Reilley) White. He graduated from Wautoma High School, Class of 1975. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from August 1975 to August 1979. He was united in marriage to his sweetheart, Helene Immel on January 3, 1976 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.

Rich drove semi-trucks for many years. For the past 10 years, he worked for Walmart as a Truck Driver and just completed his million “safe miles” with them.  He was also a Certified Driver Trainer (CDT), store ambassador and mentor at the Walmart Beaver Dam Distribution Center. Rich was a member of the Goldwing Motorcycle Club in Fond du lac and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He loved working on cars, horseback riding and traveling. He enjoyed being with family and friends and is known for his unique sense of humor.

Rich is survived by his wife, Helene; brothers and sisters: Fawn Schlagel of Waupun, Roger (Becky) White of Redgranite, Mark (Faith) White of Green Lake, Dean (fiancé Kristi) White of Redgranite, Sherry Andreas of West Bend, and Kelly White of Waupaca; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and many dear friends.  Rich is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Marcella White; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Henry and Bonnie Immel; brothers-in-law: Duane Schlagel, Ron Andreas, Alvin Immel, and John Kwakkel; and sister-in law, Barbara Kimpton.

A visitation for Rich will be held from 10AM to 1PM on Friday, April 21, 2023 at All Saints Lutheran Church in Oshkosh, WI.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM at All Saints Lutheran Church in Oshkosh with Reverend Dean Desilet officiating. Full Military Honors will be held after the service. Interment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon at a later date.
