Ray J. Hablewitz

Ray J. Hablewitz, age 85, of Ripon, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Whispering Pines in Ripon with his family by his side. Ray was born on August 1, 1932 in Madison, WI the son of Edward and Elizabeth (Willman) Hablewitz. He served his country in the US Army from 1948-1970 after 22 years of honorable service and was a 40 year life-long VFW member.

Ray is survived by his two daughters, Elizabeth (special friend, Bruce Sampton) Buchanan of Ripon, WI and Rose Starich of Lodi, WI; 5 sisters; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; many other relatives and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Clarence Hablewitz; 4 brothers; 6 sisters; and son-in-law, John Starich

Burial for Ray will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, January 5, 2017 at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake with Pastor Erik Boulier officiating. Full military honors will follow. Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon is honored to serve the family. divinepassagefunerals.com
