Randy D. Manthei

Randy D. Manthei, age 64, of Ripon, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 21, 2016 in Black River Falls, WI. Randy was born on September 8, 1952 in Manchester, the son of Harold and Velma (Sell) Manthei. Randy served his country as a Military Policeman and Sharpshooter in the U.S. Army from 1972-1978. He was stationed at Ft Gordon, GA and Ft Sheridan, IL. He was united in marriage to Carol Prellwitz and later divorced.

Randy worked at Ripon Foods as a Mixer for 44 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and Packer fan. He loved hunting and fishing with his good buddies, Jeff Perrington and Rick Stobb, and taught gun safety in Ripon. He was a member and very involved with the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Randy is survived by his mother, Velma of Princeton; son, Jason (Mary) Manthei of Oshkosh; daughter, Lisa Manthei of Green Bay; brothers: Dave (Linda) Manthei, Curtis (Teresa) Manthei; sisters: Daisy (Jim) Chase, Cherry (Cal) DeRemer, Bonnie (Dennis) Klawitter, Kristine (Ron) Murphy, and Cynthia (Randy) Revels, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his father; son, Jeremy; sister, Ginger and brother, Tom.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Randy on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 1:00PM at Divine Passage Funeral Home, 175 N Douglas Street, Ripon. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00AM until the time of the service.
