Marvin A. Burton, age 89, of Ripon, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Fountainview Care Center in Ripon.
Marvin was born on March 22, 1926 in Ripon, the son of Chester and Alice (Radtke) Burton. He served his country in the US Navy from 1943-1946. He was united in marriage to Beverly Zahn on December 12, 1947. After 57 years of marriage, she preceded him in death on May 11, 2004. He was an interpreter on the German U-805 in World War II at wars end. He retired from Midwestern Sport Togs in Berlin as their Accountant for many years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed trap shooting.
Marvin is survived by his two sons: Michael (Erly) and Mark (Robyn); three daughters: Valerie, Ramona (Dan), and Michele (Scott); 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; other relatives and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly; brother, Floyd; and son in law, James Clark.
Per the wishes of the family, Marvin will be cremated with no services.
