Marlene M. Poblitz

Marlene M. Poblitz, age 84, of Fond du Lac, formerly of Ripon, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Saint Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI. Marlene was born on May 26, 1933 in Ripon, the daughter of Ervin and Marie (Zellmer) Poblitz. She graduated from Ripon Senior High, Class of 1951 and attended Moraine Park Technical College.

Marlene worked in the office for Speed Queen in Ripon for 14 years and Tolibia Cheese in Fond du Lac for 14 years. She retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield in 1998 after 12 years of processing insurance. She was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.

Marlene is survived by her nephew, Gary (Lynn) Markowski; great niece and great nephew, Megan and Ethan, all of Manitowoc; cousin, Arden Klimke of Pardeeville; and brother-in-law, Vincent Markowski of Fond du Lac. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Wilma Markowski.
