Marilyn Stollfus Obituary

Marilyn Ruth Stollfus, age 81, of Pickett, went to heaven on Saturday, April 19, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born on June 7, 1932 in Ripon, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Morris) Morris. She graduated from Ripon High School, Class of 1951. Marilyn was united in marriage to Arlon Stollfus on April 19, 1952 in the First Congregational Church- UCC of Ripon. He then preceded her in death in November of 1991. Marilyn was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of North Fond du Lac, the Tops Club and Friends for Fitness. She was a Poll worker for many years. She loved taking her two dogs Jenny and Toby for long walks down to the neighbor's woods. She spent a lot of time with her three grandchildren on the farm and shared many good times together. She also loved to read, go bowling and play cards with all of her friends.

She is survived by her son, Charles (Lisa) Stollfus of Pickett; two daughters, Christine (Donn) Wright of Green Lake, Cindy (Michael) Johnson of Pickett; three grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher and Joshua Stollfus; two sisters, Joanne Adamski of Ripon, Phyllis (Richard) Kempfer of Ripon; two brothers, Elroy (Becky) Morris of Neshkoro, Joe (Linda) Morris of Ripon; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, husband Arlon, sister Miriam Balda, brother Milton Morris, and brothers-in-law Sylvester Adamski and James Balda.

A Memorial Service for Marilyn will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at St. Paul Lutheran Church- Wels, 1010 Adams Ave, North Fond du Lac with Pastor Thomas Behnke and Pastor Michael Kampman officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the services. Inurnment will be held at the Village of Rosendale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Marilyn's name.
