Lois L. Bartol, age 81, of Princeton, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Theda Care Hospital in Berlin, WI. She was born on July 20, 1940 in Oshkosh, the daughter of Carl and Mary (Whitby) Kundiger. Lois graduated from Prentice High School in Prentice, WI. She was united in marriage to Dennis Bartol on September 13, 1964 in Princeton, WI.
Lois was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked for Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon, WI, King Veteran Home in King, WI, and retired from the State of Wisconsin Dodge Correctional Institute after 17 years. She was a devoted member and ladies aide helper of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Princeton. She loved sewing, crocheting, knitting, quilting, puzzles and playing on her Ipad.
Lois is survived by her husband, Dennis; son, Wade (Kristine) Bartol of Soldier’s Grove, WI; daughter, Lara (Scott) Roehl of Princeton, WI; 2 grandchildren: Matthew (Ashley) Bartol of Beaver Dam, WI and Michael (Alycia) Roehl of Green Lake, WI; 4 great grandchildren: Kilian and Delanie Bartol, and Easton and Jacob Roehl; sister, Carol Dering of Ogema, WI; dear friend, Diane Gennaro; and dear neighbors: James and Sue Winchell, and Elaine Leon; other relatives and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Rick Dering.
A Funeral service for Lois will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Princeton with Rev. John Stelter officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 10:00am until the time of the services. Burial will be held in Memory Hill Lutheran Cemetery in Princeton.
