Lavonne D. Samuelson

Lavonne D. Samuelson, age 82, of Ripon, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at SSM Ripon Medical Center in Ripon. Lavonne was born on May 28,1940 in Portland Township; the daughter of Harvey and Rose (Smith) Schade. She was united in marriage to her loving husband of 62 years, Phillip Samuelson Sr. on January 30, 1960 in Brooklyn, WI. Horses were Lavonne’s life; she raised and trained them. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She loved to bake and was known in her family for the best pie crust and baking powder biscuits.

Lavonne is survived by her husband, Phil; 2 daughters: Penny (Daniel Conderman) Samuelson of Edgerton, and Pamela (Joe) Reyes of Ripon; 3 grandsons: Michael (Liz) Parks of Oxford, Robert (Jennifer) Parks of Waupun, and Dylan (Crystal) Samuelson of Fairwater; 7 great grandchildren: Bella, Lincoln and Boson Parks, Owen and Blake Parks, Carter and James Samuelson; brother, Ronald (Sharon) Schade of Madison; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Phillip Samuelson Jr.; and 5 brothers: Maynard (Florance) Schade, Harvey (Jean) Schade, Robert (Mary) Schade, Bernard (Phyllis) Schade, and Richard (Donna) Schade.    

A Celebration of Life for Lavonne will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Divine Passage Funeral Home, 175 N. Douglas Street in Ripon.
