Judith A. Paulsen

Judith A. Paulsen, age 91, of Markesan, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon, WI surrounded by her children. Judy was born on August 8, 1931 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edward and Isabel (Luck) Potts.  She was united in marriage to Robert Paulsen in 1954 in Chicago, IL. Judy was a Special Education Teacher at Maine Township School District until she retired in 1994.

Judy had a passion for training dogs, and developed many lifelong friendships in the training community. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church on Green Lake.

Judy is survived by 3 children: Rick (Sue) Paulsen of Markesan, WI, Lynn (Jim) Nagy of Bostwick, GA and Don (Katie) Paulsen of Scottsdale, AZ; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Ruth (Robert) Fleck of Columbus, GA, and June Potts of Ripon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Bob and son, Jerry Paulsen.

Visitation will be held at Divine Passage Funeral Home, 175 N. Douglas Street, Ripon WI 9:00 am to 11:00 am Wednesday, November 16th.  A service will follow immediately with Pastor Gary Zacharias officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Green Lake Conservancy are appreciated.
