Judith J. Larson

Judith J. Larson, age 81, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024 at her home surrounded by her children. Judy was born on September 21, 1943 in Chicago, IL; the daughter of Charles and June (Bahl) Fishleigh. She attended Park Ridge High School in Chicago, IL. On January 26, 1963, Judy was united in marriage to Calvin “Cal” Larson in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on May 8, 2023.

 Judy and Cal began their married life in a small dairy farm outside of Berlin, WI when they purchased their first Clydesdale.  Soon after, they moved to a ranch in Ripon, WI where they began a life long adventure with the Clydesdale world from parades, shows, and Judy’s ventured in tourism with Larson’s Famous Clydesdale tours and shows.  Throughout her years with tourism, she created friends everywhere she went.  Judy was known as a caring, strong, and determined woman that loved her family and was a light to all that knew her.  

Judy is survived by a son, Terry Larson of Ripon; 3 daughters: Joy Larson of Ripon, Sandy (Drew) Ness of Minneapolis, MN, and Linda (Dave) Hirsheimer of Scottsdale, AZ; 6 grandchildren: Paxton, Kagan, Maizy, Declan, Delaney, and Reilly. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Cal.
