John "Jackie" T. McDonald

John “Jackie” Thomas McDonald, age 83, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, February 29,
2024 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac with his loving wife by his side. Jackie was born on
February 17, 1941 in Groomsport, Northern Ireland; the son of John and Winifred (Wilson)
McDonald.

After graduating, Jackie did an apprenticeship with McCartney. He was employed by Vanity
Fair/ H.D. Lee Company until 1982 when he moved back to Garland, TX. He worked for Skyline
Laundry Systems until 1988; he was then employed by UniMac Laundry Systems in Marianna,
FL, and then Raytheon/Alliance Laundry Systems in Ripon, WI until he retired in 2009.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Sarah Ann of Ripon; 4 sons: Ross McDonald, Craig (Sandra)
McDonald both of Groomsport, Northern Ireland, Scott McDonald, and Martin McDonald both
of Bangor, Northern Ireland; grandson, Carter McDonald; brother, Ian (Anne) McDonald; and
sister, Bertha Rea, both of Bangor, Northern Ireland. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life for Jackie will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made
