John R. Cernoch

John R. Cernoch, age 63, of Berlin, WI passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, January 25, 2025. John was born on December 30, 1961 in Fall River, Massachusetts; the son of John and Marjorie (Polk) Cernoch. John lived in several states before settling in Berlin, WI. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking building and refinishing furniture. He found joy in the tranquility of nature. He also enjoyed cooking, and making delicious foods, especially sourdough. He loved his grandchildren and was always there to help.

John is survived by his mother, Marge Cernoch; son, Scott (fiancé Ona Koentopp) Cernoch; daughter, Sara (Carlos) Rodriguez; grandchildren: Dylan, Karlie, and Heaven Cernoch, Audrina Espinoza, Alicia and Lilyana Rodriguez; significant other, Robin Yelk; sister, Carrie Riviers; other relatives and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his father, John; and brother in law, Michael Riviers.
