Joan C. Le Brasseur

Joan C. Le Brasseur, age 89, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend, WI. Joan was born on September 19, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of William and Marguerite (Halleran) Ganiere. She was united in marriage to Ronald Le Brasseur on October 15, 1955 in Elm Grove, WI. He preceded Joan in death on January 5, 1999. Joan and Ron moved to Ripon in 1975 and began a photography business.

Joan graduated from Pious XI High School in Milwaukee, WI and attended Milwaukee County Nursing School. She worked as a Nursing Assistant at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee, WI and later as a Home Health Aide for Fond du Lac County for many years. She was a faithful and devoted wife to Ron and mother to her children. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and shopping for a good bargain. She was known for her life-long love for her Boxers. 

Joan is survived by two sons: Mark Le Brasseur of Destin, FL, and Matthew (Julia) Le Brasseur of San Angelo, TX; three daughters: Colette (Edward) DeFouw of Franklin, WI, Annette Le Brasseur of Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Suzette (Ken) Serwin of Wayne, WI; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; other relatives and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron; a sister and a brother.
