James V. Pruss Jr.

James V. Pruss Jr, age 83, of Ripon, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon. James was born on January 29, 1938 in Ripon, the son of James and Magdalen (Panuski) Pruss. He served his country in the US Army in Panama during the Cuban Crisis. James liked to cut grass and work on the family farm. He enjoyed watching wrestling and the Green Bay Packers.

James is survived by his 6 sisters: Marion Docta, Lucille (Wayne) Wagner, Anna (George) Karamitis, Marlene Pruss, Virginia (Richard) Swederske, and Christine Waters; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers-in-law, Alex Docta and Dennis Waters.

A Visitation for James will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon with Rev. Jeffrey Dodson officiating.
