James "Jim" Birdyshaw

James P. Birdyshaw, age 70, of Ripon, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 at his home. Jim was born on May 27, 1946 in Birmingham, Alabama the son of John and Excer (Bishop) Birdyshaw. He served his country in the U.S. Army until 1966. Jim was a big Alabama Crimson Tide College football fan. He will be remembered always smoking his tobacco pipe while watching TV and always telling stories.

Jim is survived by his four children: Shane (Tracie) Birdyshaw of Jasper, AL; Carly Birdyshaw of Princeton, WI; Todd (fiancée Ashley) Birdyshaw of Ripon; and John Birdyshaw of Ripon; many grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, George (Teresa) Birdyshaw of Alabama; sister, Ava Birdyshaw of Alabama; nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, James Todd; nephew, Dane and niece, Tara.
