Harley L. Parks, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away on November 26, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI. Harley was born on April 13, 1935 in Stevens Point, WI, the son of Henry and Esther (Coon) Parks. He served his country in the US Merchant Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict from 1954 to 1956. Harley worked around the Ripon community as a handyman always helping those in need. He started a garden at Russell Manor and enjoyed living there. He enjoyed fishing, and walking in the outdoors.
Harley is survived by 3 daughters: Stephanie, Pauline (David), and Celine; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; brother, Kylo (Kathy) Parks; sister, Nola Jaecks; sister-in-law, Lorna Parks; other relatives and dear friends. Harley is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ellowaine (Alton) Parks; brothers: Delmer Parks and Marlow Parks; and nephew, Robert Parks.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon on December 11, 2021 from 10:00am until 11:00am. Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on December 11, 2021 at the funeral home with full military honors will follow. Interment will be held in the Meehan Cemetery in Plover, WI at a later date.
