Gary J. Kline

Gary J. Kline, age 74, of Ripon, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Gary was born on June 1, 1949 in Redding, PA. After graduating high school, Gary served his country in the U.S. Navy for most of his career. He was stationed in France and served during the Vietnam War. Gary moved to Kenosha in the 1980’s and worked for Zapp Painting as a painter for apartment buildings. He was very close with Larry Zapp. When Gary moved to Ripon, he worked at Alliance Laundry Systems until he retired. Gary enjoyed building furniture, using his Pennsylvania Dutch skills. He was a proud craftsman. He also loved gardening, hunting, fishing and mostly having a good time.

Gary is survived by 2 daughters: Crystal (Ira) Kline-Burdine of Kenosha, and Stacia (Jason) Kline- Obara of Princeton; son, Gary Kline Jr; 4 grandchildren: Sumar Kline, Malachi Kline-Obara, and Autumn and Brooke Burdine; and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and his longtime partner of 30 years, Linda Rupp.
