Gail Tremore Obituary

Gail Marie Tremore, age 72, of Green Lake, died peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on January 30, 1950 in Berlin, WI, the daughter of Gordon and Gladys (Duzinski) Gneiser. Gail was a 1968 Green Lake High school graduate.  She earned an Associate degree in Industrial Engineering while raising her two sons and working at Protexall in Green Lake. Leading by example, she taught her sons the value of hard work and commitment to each other. Gail gained employment at Lamico Company in Oshkosh. She later moved to Waunakee, WI, where she was employed at the Carnes Manufacturing Co of Verona. Gail finished her career at Portage Plastics and retired in 2015.

Gail loved her boys, grandchildren and daughters-in-law, brother, sisters and friends. Her hope and prayer for us was that we be peaceful and true to ourselves and love one another as God loves us. One of her favorite versus was Psalm 31:20 “Let my presence override everything you experience. Like a luminous veil of light, I hover over you and everything around you. I am training you to stay conscious of me in each situation you encounter.”

In Gail’s younger years, she loved being involved with Girl Scouts. Camping and canoeing were greatly enjoyed and passed down to her sons and grandchildren. She was a talented softball player, and enjoyed bowling and a good game of cribbage. Gail was a courageous woman, skydiving after her first bout with cancer. She showed that courage again most recently when she decided not to do chemotherapy and take on the third round of cancer excepting her earthly fate and embracing the promise of eternal life with her Savior, Jesus. She loved plants, flowers and gardening. Gail volunteered at Ripon hospital for a time and was a member of a Green Lake area bible study group. She loved her bible study.

Gail is survived by her sons: David (Lisa) Tremore of Green Lake, and Daniel (Deanna) Tremore of Manifee, CA; 7 grandchildren: Katherine, Nathan (fiancé Madyson Stellmacher), Preston, Parker, Spencer, Eva, and Emma; 3 step grandchildren: Emily, Andrew and Madix; her brother, Gary Gneiser; sisters: Georgia (Joel) Schultz, and Greta Gneiser; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Special friends of Gail include, Rosemary, Angela, Karen, Karla, Lois, Mary Ellen, Kris, Amy, Lori, Pam, Joanne, Christine, Marian, Vicki, Barb, Alyce, Linda, Carri, and many others.  Gail’s neighbors have also been very kind to her over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents.
