Dorothy A. Galica, age 90, of Ripon, WI went to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Prairie Place Assisted Living in Ripon, WI. Dorothy was born on November 13, 1934 in Clintonville, WI; the daughter of Elmer and Elsie (Lembke) Bragg. She was united in marriage to Joseph Galica on April 11, 1953 at the U.S. Naval Air Station in Rhode Island. She enjoyed being a “Navy Wife” for 22 years while Joe served in the United States Navy. Joe preceded her in death on November 25, 2023. They both proudly traveled and slept in all 50 states and 3 countries.
Dorothy was a devoted Catholic and member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. She was also a member of the Eagles Club and Nepeuskun Horsethief Association. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles and was an avid reader. She enjoyed baking and always had cookies in the cookie jar. She loved crocheting and made 54 Afghans.
Dorothy is survived by 6 children: Denise (Dale) Evans of Ohio, Karan (Robert) Doro of Princeton, Catherine (Michael) Scott of East Lancing, MI, Debora (Mitchell) Sears of Ripon, Linda Galica of Ripon, and Joseph Jr. (Stephanie) Galica of Ripon; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; brother, James (Cindy) Bragg of Washington; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe; sister, Alice (Victor) Lundt; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00AM to 12:00PM on Friday, October 31, 2025 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon, WI.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00PM on Friday October 31, 2025 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon, WI with Father Chuck Wrobel officiating. Interment will follow at Loper Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon is assisting the Galica family. Divinepassagefunerals.com
