Donald L. Gerlach

Donald L. Gerlach, age 74, of Fairwater, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at his home with Marcy by his side after a short illness. Don was born on October 7, 1949 in Fond du Lac, WI; the son of James and Beverly (Graham) Gerlach. He grew up in North Fond du Lac and graduated from Horace Mann High School, going on to technical school.

Don started his own business “Don’s Auto” where he did mechanical, autobody repair, and restoration of old autos. After retiring, they moved to Fairwater. He enjoyed traveling around Wisconsin with Marcy, old autos, and trains, and going to the YMCA.

Don is survived by his significant other of 43 years, Marcy Kremer; Mike (Deb) Kremer of Oshkosh, Mark (Lisa) Kremer of Rosendale, Mildred Kinzer of Fond du Lac; sister, Sharon; nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Joe.
