Dolores R. Dickerson

Dolores R. Dickerson, age 94, of Ripon, WI, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Maplecrest Manor in Ripon, WI. Dolores was born on May 10, 1930 in the Township of Dakota, WI; the daughter of Leonard and Ruth (Rohde) Rohde. She was united in marriage to Ralph “Rufus” Dickerson on November 27, 1950 in Blue Island, IL. He preceded her in death on December 9, 1993. She was confirmed at the EUB church in Wautoma and a faithful member of Ripon United Methodist Church. Dolores loved animals especially dogs and was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan. She enjoyed listening to Country Music and attending concerts with Ralph.

Dolores is survived by 2 sons: Michael (Janice) Dickerson of Ripon, WI, and Jeffrey (Vicky) Dickerson of Ripon, WI; daughter, Debra Hallman-Ottesen of Berlin; 5 grandchildren: Jason (Melissa) Dickerson, Jessica Dickerson, Wendy (Zack) Zinsli, Ryan (Mandy) Hallman, and Sarah (Colin) Langley; 9 great grandchildren; step-sister, Betty Jane Hasselquist; other relatives and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 43 years, Ralph “Rufus”; sister, Marion Souzek, father-in-law, James Dickerson, brothers-in-law: Royce Dickerson, James Dickerson, and Emil Souzek; sisters-in-law: Doris Dickerson and Dorothy Dickerson; and nephew, Ronald Souzek.

Per the wishes of Dolores, cremation has taken place. A Graveside service for family will be held at North Dakota Cemetery in Wautoma, WI at a later date. Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon is proudly serving the family. Divinepassagefunerals.com
