Dennis B. Waters

Dennis B. Waters, age 72, of Ripon, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at his home. Dennis was born on November 9, 1948 in Ripon, the son of Bernard and Louise (Lichtenberg) Waters. He graduated from Ripon High School, Class of 1967. After high school, Dennis was drafted and he served his country in the US Army. Dennis was united in marriage to Christine Pruss on December 14, 1974 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Ripon, WI.  

Dennis worked at Alliance Laundry Systems for over 40 years before retiring. He farmed his land and enjoyed sturgeon spearing, ice fishing, coin collecting and collecting the hundreds of arrowheads he found on his land. He was a proud beekeeper with his father.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Christine; daughters: Julie (Special Friend, Oscar Medrano-Ceja) Waters of Onalaska, WI, Janel Waters of Milwaukee, WI, Jennifer Waters of Ripon, WI, and Jacqueline (Michael) Kasubaski of Ripon, WI; grandchildren: Jacob, Ozany, Logan, Charles, and William; sisters: Debra (Anthony) Kuharski of Ripon, WI, Janice (David) Klawitter of Oxford, WI, and Diane (Michael) Tiry of Ripon, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral service for Dennis will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend Jeffrey Dodson officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 10:00am until the time of the services.
