Dennis J. Bartol

Dennis James Bartol, age 84, of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. Dennis was born on November 13, 1937 in Princeton, WI, the son of Sylvester and Lucille (Oelke) Bartol. He graduated from Princeton High School and served his country in the US Army for 2 years. He was united in marriage to Lois Kundiger on September 14, 1964 in Princeton, WI. She preceded him in death on August 15, 2021. Dennis worked at Kopplin and Kinas in Green Lake for 23 years, and then he worked for the Green Lake County Highway Department for 23 years before retiring. Throughout his life, he mowed many lawns in both Princeton and Green Lake. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. 

Dennis is survived by his son, Wade (Kristine) Bartol of Soldier’s Grove, WI; daughter, Lara (Scott) Roehl of Princeton, WI; 2 grandchildren: Matthew (Ashley) Bartol of Beaver Dam, WI and Michael (Alycia) Roehl of Green Lake, WI; 5 great grandchildren: Kilian, Delanie, and Collins Bartol, and Easton and Jacob Roehl; sister-in-law, Carol Dering; dear neighbors and friends: James and Sue Winchell, and Elaine Leon; special friends: Ron Gurke, Bruce Dreger, Norm Mashuda, Diane Gennaro, and Anne Marie Froehlich; fur-babies: Spooky and Bella; other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois, and brother-in-law, Rich Dering.

A Funeral service for Dennis will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, May 9, 2022 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Princeton with Rev. John Stelter officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 11:00am until the time of the services.
