Delores F. Morris

Delores Morris, age 89, of Ripon, formerly of Wisconsin Dells, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 surrounded by her family. Delores was born in Delton, WI on September 22, 1934; the daughter of James and Mildred (Howland) Gunn. She served her country in the US Army from August 11, 1954 to August 10, 1956. She was united in marriage to James Morris in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on August 20, 1997.

Delores worked at Briggs and Stratton for over 30 years before retiring. She loved playing cards and Bingo and always had a contagious smile. She enjoyed going to the Casino’s and playing the poker machines. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Delores is survived by her sons: Charles (Lynda) Morris, and Robert (Koleen) Morris; daughters: Kathleen (Kirby) Albright, and Susan (Douglas) Reed; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sisters: Beverly Oberdorf, Shirley Gunn, and Karen Wahlgefahrt; other relatives and dear friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; brother, Joseph Gunn; sisters: Betty Seilder, and Dorothy Wilkosz; and 2 grandchildren: Sherri and Donna Klein.

Per the wishes of Delores, cremation has taken place with no services. Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon is serving the family. Divinepassagefunerals.com
