Carolyn M. Wilson, age 74, of Ripon, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, with her family by her side.
Carolyn was born on February 15, 1941 in Ripon, the daughter of Paul and Mildred (Martin) Mehn. She graduated from Ripon High School and became an Account Clerk for the Green Lake County Human Services for 28 years. She was united in marriage to Brian Wilson on February 14, 1980 at West Holden Church in Wautoma. Together, they fostered 27 greyhounds and proud members of the Heartbound Association.
Carolyn loved spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and attended all of their school events. She traveled during the winter with her husband to Arizona in their Motor coach and had many camping trips with the entire family. She had a passion for cactus arrangements with rocks, and enjoyed gardening, Lilies, and hummingbirds.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Brian of Ripon; four children: Michael (Brooke) Klawitter, Kip (Special friend, Rebecca Feyen) Klawitter, Amy (John) Krause, and Melissa (Dan) Fell; five step-children: David Wilson, Brian Scott (Kathy) Wilson, Teresa (Dave) Brinkman, Robert (Cherrie) Wilson and Kelly (Elizabeth) Wilson; many grandchildren and great- grandchildren; brother, Robert Mehn; other relatives and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; two children, Peter and Dawn Marie; and sister Lucille Rasmussen.
Funeral services for Carolyn will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Divine Passage Funeral Home, 175 N Douglas Street, in Ripon. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 10:00AM until the time of the services. Inurnment will be held at Hilltop Cemetery in Saxville, WI at a later date.
