Carlton J. Packer

Carlton J. Packer, age 85, of Pickett, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Bay Harbor Memory Care and Assisted Living of Ripon. Carl was born on April 2, 1938 in Ogdensburg, WI; the son of John and Edel (Friese) Packer. He was united in marriage to Judith Bergmann on June 27, 1959 in Waupaca. She preceded him in death. On October 13, 1978, Carl was united in marriage to Barbara Downs in Ripon. She preceded him death on August 17, 2018. Carl was an on the road and in the field Tire Serviceman. He was a member of the Omro Antique Tractor and Toy Club and enjoyed tractor pulls and Farmall tractors.

Carl is survived by his children: Steven (Kyra) Packer, Jerald (Teresa) Packer, Jeffrey (LuAnn) Packer, Robert (Mary) Packer, and Janet (Larry) Packer; step-children: Julian Hernandez, Richard Hernandez and Ruth Hernandez; grandchildren: Derek Kruger and Steve Packer; great grandchildren: Caleb Kruger and Seth Packer; brothers: Richard (Georgia) Packer and Norman (Syl) Packer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Carl will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Divine Passage Funeral Home, 175 N. Douglas Street, Ripon.

Funeral services for Carl will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Divine Passage Funeral Home with Kristy Martin officiating.
