Bruce R. Knaub, age 79, of Green Lake, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh with his family by his side. Bruce was born on October 21, 1940 in the Town of Wauwatosa, the son of Rubin and Flora (Schneeweis) Knaub. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Biesel on August 12, 1961 in Milwaukee. She then preceded him in death on April 17, 2014.
Bruce was the owner of Happy Lawns for over 60 years before retiring, with locations in Milwaukee and Green Lake. He was always on the go and made many friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and boating and loved going to Friday Fish Fry's.
Bruce is survived by his three sons, Marc (Emily) Knaub of East Troy, Chris Knaub of Germantown, and Jeff (Amy Monroe) Knaub of Brookfield; two daughters, Bonnie Wiencek of Green Lake, and Shari (John) Knaub-Behm of Berlin; six grandchildren, Kaitlin (Jordan) Edwards, Kendra Knaub, Heather Behm, Jacob Knaub, Matthew (Allison Norris) and Maggie (fiancée, Ben Stephen) Wiencek; two great grandchildren: Jackson Wiencek and Kloe Treder; sister, Nancy (Jerome) Larsen; other relatives and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Carolyn.
