Benjamin "Benji' Downs

Benjamin H. Downs Jr., age 52, of Ripon, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, December 6, 2025. He is now at peace after many years of illnesses.  Benji was born on July 12, 1973 at the Blytheville AirForce Base in Blytheville, AR; the son of Benjamin Sr. and April (Hodge) Downs. He graduated from Oshkosh North High School, Class of 1992. He was a member of the Pickett Tractor Club, and the Omro Antique Tractor Club.  He enjoyed cutting grass, and taking care of the chickens on the farm. He was a fan of all Wisconsin Sports, and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Benji will always be remembered for his humor and positivity with a big smile.

Benji is survived by his mother, April; brother, Peter Downs of Neenah; niece and nephews: Summer, Parker, Finn, and Evan; many cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Sr.; paternal grandparents: Wes Sr. and Viola Downs; and maternal grandparents: Scott and Barbara Hodge.

A Celebration of Life for Benji will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 9:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will be held at a later date in Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett.
