Barbara M. Packer

Barbara M. Packer, age 74, of Pickett, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 at her home with family by her side. Barbara was born on June 15, 1944 in Oshkosh, WI, the daughter of Wesley Sr. and Viola (Cundy) Downs. She graduated from Ripon High School, Class of 1962. On October 14, 1978 she was united in marriage to Carlton Packer.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Carl; 2 sons: Julian (Diane) Hernandez and Richard (Debra) Hernandez; daughter, Ruth (special friend Shane Kwakkel); 4 step-sons: Steve (Kyra) Packer, Jerry (Teresa) Packer, Jeff (Luann) Packer and Bob (Mary) Packer; step-daughter, Janet (Larry) Wallenhorst; 2 brothers: Ben (April) Downs and Wes (Pam) Downs; 4 grandchildren: Samantha, Andrea, Sara and Sydney Hernandez; 2 step-grandchildren: Jake Scallon and Anne Gwaltney; 3 great grandchildren: Dakota, Dominic and Rozalia; special friend, Lois Albright; other relatives and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gene Downs and nephew, Josh Downs.

Visitation for Barbara will be held from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Divine Passage Funeral Home, 175 N Douglas Street, Ripon and from 10:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Divine Passage Funeral Home with Affinity Hospice Pastor officiating. Burial will be held at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett, WI. A Celebration of Life meal will be held following the burial at the Ripon Town Hall, N8191 Douglas Street.
