Barbara Ann Hermes

Barbara Ann Hermes, age 75, of Green Lake, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Ripon Medical Center. She was born on March 18, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Howard and Helen (Olson) Bergmann. On April 7, 1978, she married her loving husband Aloysius Hermes in Appleton, WI. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon and devoted her time in Home Care visiting the sick and elderly. Barbara always reached out to people asking if they need help. She enjoyed reading books and watching her daily soap operas.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Al of Green Lake; one son, Gregory Allen Peterson of Green Lake; two daughters: Christy (Darryl) Borchert and Sheryl Peterson both of Waupaca; one sister, Dori Mallison of Waupaca; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Joyce and Judie.

A Memorial Service will be held for Barbara at 12:00PM on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon with Pastor Joshua Pegram officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 10:00AM until the time of the services.

A special Thank You is extended to the staff at Fountainview Care Center and the 2^nd floor nurses at Ripon Medical Center for their great care of Barbara.
