Audrey Mae Egli, age 82, formally of Ripon, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at her home in Eastman, WI with her family by her side. She was born on October 18, 1932, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Frank and Martha (Reinke) Griedl. Audrey was united in marriage to Walter "Walt" Egli on October 22, 1983 at the United Methodist Church in Princeton with the Rev. Charles Wendt officiating. Walt then preceded her in death on July 5, 2000.
Audrey owned a bar and restaurant in Wautoma for almost 15 years. Audrey loved cooking and canning tomatoes. She was known to process 150 quarts a year of canned tomatoes. She was very organized and always made sure everything was clean. She enjoyed gambling and playing cards with her grandchildren.
Audrey is survived by her four children: Marlin (Special friend Kris Gravel) Raatz of Coloma, Barbara (Conrad) Hadley of Eastman, Ronald (Mary) Raatz of Ripon, Gilbert (Special friend Mary Plonsky) Raatz of Butte Des Morts; two step-children: Bruce (Kathy) Egli of Spring Green, Mary Jo (Al) Pudroski of Plover; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; four sisters: Eleanor (Ralph) Pischke of Omro, Donna (Jim) Kloehn of Oshkosh, Margaret (John) Haertl of Oshkosh, Mary (Randy) Van Linn of Oshkosh; one brother: Jerry (Jane) Griedl of Oshkosh; one brother-in-law Pete Redlin of Pickett; nieces, nephews and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Martha; loving grandmother, Augusta Reinke; husband, Walt; and sister, Joan Redlin.
Memorial Services will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Divine Passage Funeral Home, 175 N Douglas Street in Ripon. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 10:00AM until the time of the services.
