Alice J. Broder, 92, of Brandon, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2025. Alice was born on November 7, 1932, to Walter and Alice (Stellmacher) Lemiesz. She was a graduate of the Ripon School District and spent her early years working at the Advertisers in Ripon.
On February 27, 1960, Alice married Robert Broder at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, officiated by Father Joseph Platta. Together, they shared 65 years of love, laughter, and memories. Alice and Robert worked hand in hand on their farm in Brandon until their well-deserved retirement.
Known for her lively personality and witty sense of humor, Alice had a laugh that was truly infectious. Alice had a passion for baking, reading, and spending time outdoors, especially caring for her garden. Her strong work ethic and lively spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Alice leaves behind her loving husband, Robert, and their three daughters: Diane (Joel) Follmer, Laurie (Jim) Woodrum, and Amy (Dennis) Servais. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Carmen, Ben, Adam, Marisa, Jenna, Brett, and Calvin, as well as four great-grandchildren. Alice is also survived by one brother, David, and two sisters, Phyllis and Beverly.
In keeping with her wishes, Alice will be cremated, and a private burial service will take place at a later date. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the SSM Green Lake Hospice team, especially Janine and Becky, for their compassionate care during Alice’s final days.
